For those who prefer to march to the beat of their own drum, we have all the ideas and resources you need.
Fields in Trust protect the parks and green spaces that we all depend on. Saturday football, swings with the kids, long walks with friends, cricket on a summer evening, beating your Parkrun personal best; these are all the parts of our day that make us feel good, keep us healthy, and make memories we will cherish forever.
The next time you take that walk or visit your favourite park, please consider supporting our work. By organising a local event, you’ll mix having fun and bringing your community together, with raising much-needed funds.
It could be a run at your local park, an end-of-season fancy-dress cricket match, or even a collection at a summer festival. Do check with your local council to see if there are any restrictions before you start.
If you need any help or advice, please contact our friendly fundraising team. We’d love to know your plans and support you along the way.
Birthday coming up? Why not create a short film about how special your local park is to you and invite your friends and family to donate to Fields in Trust instead? You can set up a birthday Facebook fundraiser here.
This one is for those of you who are up for a challenge! Whether you want to run a marathon or do something a little less daunting, every step you take will help protect our parks and green spaces for good.
Organise an afternoon of Office Olympics with your colleagues - either in your office or local park! Get some wacky games together (and prizes do help too). Don’t forget to ask the boss first – and let us know if you’d like us to come along and tell you about our work.
Get your friends together and have a ‘night at the races’. Find some footage on YouTube of a vintage Grand National event, place your bets, and donate half the winnings to Fields in Trust.
Host a fancy garden party at home, hang the bunting out, and invite your friends and family to attend for a small fee. You could even organise a tombola for the kids, or sell food and drinks at the party to raise some extra cash.

Remembering us with a gift in your will means you can ensure future generations will always have a place to connect, play, or simply take a breath.
Help us solve the challenges facing our parks and green spaces, so we all have a greener future.
