Fields in Trust

About Us

We are the only charity in the UK working to protect parks and green spaces for good. Because once lost, they're lost forever.

What we do

Our impact is unique and long-term. We legally protect individual parks and green spaces, so that they can never be sold for development. We work side by side with landowners to ensure their spaces benefit both the local community and the natural environment.

We produce evidence to make the case for parks and green spaces - and play a leading role in lobbying policymakers to recognise their importance.

Together, we work to harness the power of parks and green spaces for a happier, healthier, and greener future for everyone.

Learn more about our cause

Parks and green spaces are important to all of us. They make us happier and healthier, help combat loneliness, and contribute towards mitigating the effects of climate change. But they are underfunded, undervalued and under threat.

Whilst you're here…

Please help us to protect parks forever. 93% of British parks could be at risk. With your help we can ensure they will always be there for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Please consider making a donation towards our important work.
