Kay Park is one of the largest public open space areas within the Local Authority and is used for mainly recreational purposes by the local community and visitors. The newly built Burns Monument Centre attracts visitors from far and wide to the park. There are a number of avenues and footpaths which disabled people can access throughout the park and the large pond attracts several species of wildfowl.
