Originally the grounds to Evesham Abbey on the beautiful River Avon, with a popular café, lily pool, picnic areas, children’s play areas and splash park. The park also holds a variety of events throughout the year, including summer holiday activities, a hot air balloon festival, and a fishing festival.

A very pleasant place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Good facilities for refreshments and handily placed to see other attractions in the town e.g the Cathedral and the Darwin House and museum.

Something for everyone... the River Blythe runs through it, there is a nature reserve and woods, I've seen barn owls, bats, birds of prey, nut hatches, hooper swans... the list goes on. It's peaceful despite being close to the motorway.

The park has Site of Special Scientific Interest status with lots to do including sailing, water skiing, wake boarding. There is a cafe adjacent to The Innovation Centre with meeting rooms for hire & an exhibition area.

Waterworks Road, Worcester, Worcestershire
Gheluvelt Park is a memorial park built in honour of those lost in the First World War, commemorating the Worcestershire Regiments 2nd Battalion. The all-inclusive park has outdoor Gym equipment, Splashpad, bandstand, playground area, tennis courts, Sons of rest. It hosts many events throughout the year, including the Worcester Show.
