Abington Park Crescent, Northampton, Northamptonshire
It is a lovely large park with plenty of open spaces, play equipment for the children to enjoy, also three lakes to walk around. In the summer the old bandstand has bands each Sunday to enjoy. A cafe selling a various items and a museum celebrating Northampton
Barnwell Road, Oundle, Northamptonshire
It combines the peace of a park with the perfect balance of walks and views across water. It has a wonderful selection of walks as well as lovely play areas for both young kids and tots. The cakes at its cafe, Kingfisher Cafe, are compulsively delicious!
Boston Road, Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Memories hosting carnivals, football pitch, tennis club, outside cinemas and fayres. Wickstead equipment and paddling pond. It welcomes all. Recently it’s had a new play park, skate park and kiosk cafe. Fought off developers to provide access roads to proposed stores. A very special place. Stunning trees.
Hall Drive, Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Its gorgeous, with a lake, various trees, homes for loads of wildlife. Beautiful birds, peaceful atmosphere, with events throughout the year.
Bradgate Road, Newtown Linford, Leicestershire
Bradgate is a beautiful park near Leicester. Back in the 12th century it was used as a deer park for hunting and still has deer today. Once the home of Lady Jane Grey (the nine day queen) whose family owned and lived on the park.
Hoop Lane, Wragby, Lincolnshire
We attend Waldorf Baby Group here and enjoy the woods, butterfly garden and woodland classroom. Paths are wheelchair accessible and well marked. It's a conservation area and teaches outdoor education.
Hasland, Chesterfield, Derbyshire
A brilliant venue with leisure and recreation offers for all ages. Located in the middle of the vibrant village. Beautiful historic features as well as plenty of modern facilities
Spring Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
The site commands spectacular views of Gedling, and from its highest point there are impressive views across Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties. It has a rich diversity of wildlife, mining heritage and green credentials along with a network of paths, trails and viewpoints that creates a destination to be proud of.
Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln, Lincolnshire
It's a superb park sat on the outskirts of Lincoln city that has heathland, woodland, and open fields to walk and look around. It is run by a set of volunteers and workers for the local council.
